Matching Funds Program
Branch W016: Soup Supper Benefit for the Brainard Community Club
FCSLA W016 officers and members held a soup supper on October 24, 2009 for
the benefit of the Brainard Community Club. FCSLA and Community Club members
offered to help with the supper. The local Boy Scout and Cub Scout Troops offered
to wait tables and clean up. The Community Club held a pumpkin decorating table
for the youngsters and a Halloween costume parade. The event raised over $500
to help assist the Community Club in various activities such as the emergency
fund, which assists people from the area who are experiencing a need in a difficult
situation.
