FCSLA is Growing

OPENING OF BRANCH S-631

I am thrilled to announce the opening of a new branch in Fremont, NE #S-631! The turnout for the Grand Opening Dinner was...well, WOW! The largest opening dinner I have done—62 members came to the Fremont Golf Club on July 24th. I was overwhelmed with the turnout. They just kept calling to RSVP. At one point I had to send a 2nd box of raffle prizes to Debbie @ Guilliatt & Assoc. because I was afraid I would not have enough gifts for everyone. Thank you to all our new members, NE District Officers Gene Sobota, Clarice Sabata & Ron Paseka but most of all to Agents Mark & Mike Guilliatt and their awesome office staff Debbie Perry, Sandy Boyd, Cynthia Van Ackeren, Connie Schuetze & Sara Meyer (if I missed anyone please accept my apologies—I try and keep detailed notes). Without all of you we would not be opening this branch.

The staff and food at the Fremont Golf Club were INCREDIBLE! I did my Fraternal Presentation hoping to sell the fraternal side and intrigue a few members to want to be the first branch officers of S-631. I know it can seem overwhelming coming into a new organization and asked to lead the group. And I am trying to give them a lot of useful information in a short amount of time. I had no takers at the dinner, but as I write this article I just spoke to Mike Guilliatt and we have 2 interested people. I am very hopeful that they will send in the "new branch" paperwork soon so I can make it all official. We ended the evening with everyone going home with a raffle gift! That extra box I sent helped—thank goodness.

I know this branch is going to be successful because of all the enthusiastic members and support of their District Officers and Agents and their staff.
