President's Welcome
The First Catholic Slovak Ladies
Association of the United
States of America (FCSLA) is a non-profit
fraternal benefit
society offering an array of life insurance
products and
annuities.
Founded in 1892 in Cleveland, Ohio, our
society was
established to help meet the needs of immigrant families.
As the years passed and needs changed, our services have expanded to
meet those needs. FCSLA is indeed proud to continue to offer products
that are current and competitive. Presently, we are licensed to
provide premier insurance products in 47 states and the District of
Columbia.
We also take pride in our fraternal
benefits, which extend beyond our contracts with our members. Our
fraternal benefits including our new born infant benefit, scholarships, branch activities, matching funds projects and
post-death benefits extend throughout the life of our members and
beyond.
We have a longstanding tradition
nationally, regionally and locally of charitable benevolence and
volunteerism. We endeavor to promote the temporal and spiritual
welfare of our members through fraternal and charitable activities.
Through our branch system, local communities also benefit from
numerous charitable and benevolent donations and members’ volunteer
activities.
FCSLA’s size and performance
demonstrate our continued business success. Reported assets as of
December 31, 2011 total $676 million. With over 107,000 certificates
in force and over 85,000 members across the nation, FCSLA ranks among
the top fraternal benefit societies in the United States.
We invite you to discover the fraternal
advantage by discovering FCSLA!
Fraternally Yours,
Cynthia M. Maleski
National President
