W001 - Paper Drive

Branch W001 of New Prague, Minnesota held a paper drive at St. Wenceslaus School on April 18, 2009. They picked the date to coincide with Earth Day. Branch members and school parents contacted local businesses and residents to donate paper products and cardboard for the fundraiser. The volunteers organized the paper drive through a local recycling company. They filled 2 semi trucks with over 26 tons of paper. The volunteers advertised in the Church Bulletin and local newspapers, and with flyers around the school. They raised over $600 dollars through the paper drive. All proceeds will be donated to benefit St. Wenceslaus School.
