FCSLA is Growing
OPENING
OF BRANCH S-630
Super
Storm Sandy left mass destruction behind and many events cancelled up
and down the east coast. But, she could not and did not stop the
opening of FCSLA’s newest branch S-630 in Buffalo, NY on October
30, 2012.
To
all our branches on the east cost that were affected by the super
storm – we extend our wishes and prayers for a quick recovery of
putting your lives and homes back together.
The
members of branch S-630 were greeted at the Polish Villa II
restaurant by Agent John Gonsiorek, National Secretary Sue Ann Seich,
National Sale Manager Patrick Braun and Fraternal & Youth
Director Kelly Shedlock. A total of 34 came for the celebration!
Attendees
had a choice from 3 entrées for dinner – and all were delicious!
Kelly Shedlock gave a short informative presentation about FCSLA and
its branches. Then, the important & historic part of the evening
– the very first branch officers of branch S-630 were nominated:
Jean Sobczak, Secretary; Lynn Zakowicz,, President and Leonhard
Hoeglmeier, Auditor. All nominees accepted and were officially
elected as the First Branch Officers of S-630. They will also become
the first officers of their junior branch J-534 once it is opened. We
are looking forward to having the junior branch J-534 opening
celebration in the spring of 2013.
The
evening ended with a group photograph and lots of smiling faces!
Word has it that Buffalo, NY is still a buzz about the opening of
branch S-630.
Welcome
members of Branch S-630 and J-534 to the FCSLA Family!
